News Facts

Starting in September of 2002 I attended a wide variety of  dealer shows. At these shows, manufacturers from all over the world display their products with the hope of adding new dealers as well as maintaining their existing ones. When I attend these shows, I am very serious. As I search for new products and models, I compair what I have previously selected in a catagory between all the venders. A manufactor under consideration must not have only a strong product, but a consistency of dealer support in order for Perfect Vision & Sound to provide service to our customers.

Most recently,it was time to select new DLP projectors. A newer design DLP chip from Texas Instruments named "HD2 Mustang " offered an improvement in Black Level performance and also a lot of companies were adding "Faroudja Processing" to eliminate video artifacts.

I had the opportunity to view the Sharp, Seleco, Infocus, Marantz, Yamaha,Sony among the many choices available. I judged these projectors not only on picture quality, but price and customer support.

The winners in this category was the Infocus Screenplay 7200 for best Price/Performance available under $ 10,000.00 and  Screenplay 5200 Under $ 5,000.00. The Seleco HT 300 Plus at $ 14,995.00 won for over all best picture and with their customer support they are the best in the industry.
